For as long as I can recall I've always been fascinated with aviation. I can still vividly remember as a small child my father taking me to the perimeter fence at Toronto's Pearson International Airport to watch aircraft arrive and depart. Since then my love for aircraft never diminished. In 2001 I picked up my fathers old Nikon FE with an 80-200mm lens and attended my first air show with a camera. When I received the film back I was pleasantly surprised with the results and instantly fell in love with being able to freeze a second in time and preserve a memory forever from the event. It was then that the merge of photography with my passion for aviation began, and to this day still shoot Nikon equipment.
Today I reside on Canada's west coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Through my site I strive to bring viewers a unique and behind the scenes look at both air shows, training and exercises through out North America with an emphasis on todays front line combat aircraft.
